We are the Manning’s. We are regular Iowans who work normal jobs. We just want to try something a bit different for just a year. We are hitting pause to our suburban lives to cross a bucket list item off by embarking on a Balkans Adventures we’ve titled ‘Manning the Globe’.  

Meet the crew:

Mandy – The MOM. A garden lover with a free spirit and passion for people, a lover of all self help programs (ie. Financial Peace University, Maria Kondo, Master Cleanse, etc.). Has a passion for tippy cup, piano bars and costume parties (doesn’t have to be Halloween).

Grant – Dad. A sports watching, scotch drinking, travel loving guy. Likes to read and spend time with the family. Hoping 12 continuous months together as a family will bring us together and not drive us all nuts.

Maren – Sissy/Punky/Mare Bear – A music loving, rule-following, and friend-to-all 12 year old. AND a great big sister.

Grayson – GRAYSON DAVID MANNING!!! / Buddy – a funny, always entertaining, and kind-hearted 10 year old. Literally can’t stop climbing on EVERYTHING…EVERY…SINGLE…THING!
